The Pastoral Care ministry is a team of warm, loving Christian people who are dedicated to their church families. We minister to them in times of need, from the birth of a new baby to the serious illness or passing of a loved one. Loving and caring for others takes many forms from a phone call, to a hot meal or just for someone to sit with them and listen to their concerns. We actively support our members with transportation to appointments and provide communion to those in assisted living and for those who are homebound.

Helping new members become involved in our church family is the first step in welcoming them to our church family. We have individuals who guide our new members along the way so they will feel included in all aspects of church life, answer the questions that all “new” folks have, and provide any support that is needed during that important newcomer phase.

Life has many phases both spiritual and physical throughout our journey here and our team has active support for these different phases, such as grief and caregiver support. Dementia Care Givers Support Group meeting (3rd Thursday at 1:00)

Fundamental to our ministry is ongoing and active prayer. Our prayer chain reaches out to people near and far, to the believer and to the unchurched, because we believe the foundation is stated in 1 John 5:15  “And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for".

Our team is always open for new people to join us; no special skills are necessary, other than love and compassion for other people.
